It is amazing that if you look back at pictures that were taken of us – or even our parents – so many years ago, we are horrified by what we were wearing as they look so out of fashion. Kids now are wearing more up to date and totally different outfits such as voi clothing and the latest must have.
And yet I can bet anything you like that in a couple of years many of these horror outfits will go full circle and become trendy again.
It may be hard to believe that some of these outfits should be allowed out of the loft again and yet at some point it is inevitable that I will climb into that loft and let them see the light of day.
Not for me, you understand, but for my niece. She may be one of the trendiest kids around but many of the clothes I see her wearing used to be belong to her mother or even her grandmother.
There is something very satisfying about seeing this full circle of fashion come around and it is not just the girls. My son too often goes out in things that his dad would have worn – or did wear – and listens to the same music that we used to, however fuddy duddy he thinks we are now.
